Miller firing pin info needed- photos and measurements

First, I received your book yesterday and just have to thank you for publishing an awesome book!!
Second, I recently purchased a Miller conversion that has a broken firing pin.
Looked everywhere on the Internet for another but none are to be found.
JB welded the pin back together so that possibly I could have one made but it seems to be not long enough to strike the 22 blank primer on my home made case. Searched the Internet for a diagram of the firing pin or even a picture but could find nothing.
My question to you is might you have a diagram of the firing pin with the correct length?

Doesn't look hard to make, Carl.

Is the fact that it appears to be too short (which shouldn't be if you have all of it) due, perhaps, to being an inertia design, not meant to protrude from the block when at rest?

Someone must have a Miller conversion with an intact firing pin they can use to share photos and some dimensions so you can make one.

Probably not hard to make Dick, that is if I had a lathe. We have a lathe where I work but it has a really bad wobble to it.
One day I'll invest in a small one like Harbor freight has.

It's funny how some antique rifles have many original parts available and some, like mine have none.
On my 1865 1st Allen I needed those 2 little screws that hold the ejector and ejector arm together. S&S was the only one who had them so I bought 2. After receiving them I figured I'd get 2 more for spares, well I must have gotten the last 2 as they were out of stock.
The firing pin retainer screw also is not to be found anywhere but all other parts are.
I purchased these rifles to shoot but with the rarity of crucial parts kinda makes me think twice about shooting them
I dropped off the firing pin to a gun smith yesterday. He didn't promise me anything but did say he'd give it a shot.

S&S Firearms do list parts for the Miller Conversion. You might take a chance on this block and be able to free the firing pin.

Thanks Tkacook, I had emailed them last week and was informed they did not have any.
I did look for the complete block assembly thinking that would be one way to get the pin but none are available.

I looked at the Pedosoli(misspelled) web site. and they list a firing pin for the Trapdoor that looks a bit like yours.
