That could be it, or at least part of the reason. Of course, we see 1866s with the sight set both ways, so, the whole thing's a little funky - until they finally settled down.

Oh heck, this is just a fun hobby with me Dick. I don’t really need the money. I just thought I’d free up some cash to make some purchases I wanted and not have to ask The Memsahib for the money. She’s a very wealthy gal but she’s tighter than bark on a tree.
