M66 Rifle
This M66 three band rifle is in excellent condition with a shiny bore, bright metal, blackened breech and
excellent stock. The rifle is one of the rifles rebuilt by Springfield for the Franco-Prussian War. The
stock has a sharp HSH cartouche and a script N firing proof. The cutter marks from the rifling
machine are very clear, and the bore is very shiny with a few specks about half way down the bore.
The mechanics are excellent and the rifle
appears very sound.
