My initial posting indicated the cartouche was 1887 which was incorrect. The cartouche is actually 1881. I corrected the posting.

I have a very nice original Model 1877 Stared Carbine purchased from Al Frasca many moons ago. The bore is perfect. The receiver & barrel are in good shape. Very nice 1881 cartouche.
