Thank you Very much Tom.
The trapdoor with the number appears to be a legitimate carbine to my eyes. Updated with an 1884 trigger and rear sight.

Fred, It may well be that number area does contain a large number of carbines.

Richard Branum's card index shows 137030 as a carbine - which means nothing, but, it's one more rabbit-hole ticked off! :lol: :lol:
