Not to make more work for John S.

Maybe there is one, but if so I don't see it. It would be nice to have a "Like" button to use when we feel a post or poster deserves it.

If anyone agrees, please click the Like bu......Oh, wait!

I think that's MAINLY a Facebook thing - not available on phpBB platforms, though I have seen it on other forums.

Interestingly enough, the Krag version of OUR software has direct image swapping, allowing, among other things, copying avatars - but, that was solved another way, so is now moot.

I'm sure John will make this as fully-featured as possible as soon s he can . . .

Even if I got paid 10 times what I get for doing this forum, I would not add a like button.
Not that I care (one way or the other) about like buttons, it is simply beyond my skill set.

Besides, to my curmudgeonly olde phart mindset that is all teenage girl stuff, although maybe Bud Light drinkers might like it too.

My pay is actually $0 per year. :D :) ;)

Another pain is the personal post count . Leads to junk and ATTA boy comments. Another site I visit has one with over 10,000 post counts of NOTHING of value. OH OH OH now I have 29!

The "personal post count" means nothing to me. This forum will become what each and every member makes of it. Everyone has SOMETHING to share, or a question to ask.

Much as we love Al and are eternally grateful for what he provided, we all bitched and moaned about the increasingly annoying shortcomings of the old forum. NOW we have a modern one, where we can converse in proper English, AND post pictures - and a lot (most) of our members are sitting on their hands.. Frankly, I'm disappointed - this forum will be what we ALL make of it - let's see a little more activity!
