What was the target you sounded like you may have missed it? Hope that was not the neighbors fence back there.

This was at my brother's house, there are high power lines behind his house then woods. He does have a berm which is not in the video, he wasn't a very good camera man The target was just a white board.
This video was actually the 3rd shot. I shot the first round, which was most likely the 1st time this rifle was shot in 100 years. My brother took the second shot then I the 3rd which is the video.
I thought I had missed but when we walked up to the target I found that my shot went right through my 1st shot, kinda like splitting an arrow LOL.
I can't post the photos as they are too large so I'll need to try to shrink them.

I had to shrink them a lot so that they would post.
Lower hole in 1st picture was my shot and the higher was my brother's.
Next picture shows my second shot going threw my brother's.
Point of aim was the lower hole.

I hear ya’, Richard . . . . .
When I bought my first Krag, I had a similar experience . . .
My very first shot . . . . . at 100 yards with Remington factory ammo (only wanted the brass) plunked neatly in the x-ring!
(Should a’ put the rifle away immediately, eh?)

And even worse, every good shot increases the pressure on the next! Worst thing I ever did, many years ago when shooting gallery (.22 at 50ft. with a 24x scope) was, in offhand, to jerk/flinch SO badly that I got a pinwheel on the bull BELOW the one I'd been aiming at, and ruined a very good score because, technically, it was a miss which I had to declare.

I watched a video from a Dr. Sheppard where he fabricates 58 rf via a lengthy process involving soldering a brass shot shell cf hole shut, then drilling an offset hole for a primer near the rim. Very tedious, meticulous work, requiring a lot of mechanical skill. I think it's wonderful to be able to shoot those old guns.

I also watched the video from Dr. Sheppard, he has many other videos on shooting antique arms. Very talented individual who possess great skills.
I tried shortening the process by just filling in the primer pocket with solder and eliminating the washer. This reduces the weight of the case which may help with ejection?? I find that with all the added material the case won't eject properly.
There's another video on YouTube by 11bangbang shooting a cadet 1st Allin. In their video the case ejects correctly but they also follow Dr. Sheppard's video.
I tried emailing them to see how they construct their case's but can't figure out how to contact them??
