Nice photo’s aren’t they?
I’ll take the rifle outside for any more photos you’d like to see.

The rifle really should’ve been priced higher for what it is.
If it goes on Gunbroker, I’ll raise the price on it and remove the prices I've posted on on this site.

Ok, the four remaining rifles will be put on Gunbroker.
The man wanting to buy one found out that as per his states law, he would need to register it and so he refuses to do that.
So, no sale.

What state requires registration of Model 1868 .50-70 trapdoors?
I think he may have been given bad information, or one state is a whole lot worse than we knew?

INAL but would be glad to research that state.

Sent you a private message John along with a link. That State would be New Germany, I mean New Jersey. Apparently this bill was just recently signed.
I guess this means I will no longer be able to bid on auctions and other gun sites.
The state is also now requiring ammo to be registered at time of sale. If you are buying more than 2,000 rounds you get put in the state police data base.

Well, one state IS a WHOLE LOT WORSE that we knew.

New Jersey is enemy occupied area, unsafe for freedom loving Americans. If trapped there, instead of wasting time drooling over great old guns, people need to be looking into fleeing to a free state. Get your house on the market right away, take whatever you can get and leave the state forever.

Yeah, family, jobs, friends and all that, but they should be packing up too.

Your savings in taxes will help pay for the move. And, if you own just about any gun, it is likely to be illegal now in NJ, and your lawyer costs if discovered will be megabucks as well, and better to pay the movers than the lawyers. The law was written and passed by idiot politicians. It will be enforced by nice cops who can only go by what the law says, no matter how stupid or nonsensical it is. Prosecutions will be settled in court by lawyers and judges who know nothing about guns (except they hate them) and are constrained by the idiotic language of the law passed by the legislature and signed by the governor.

For a complete run down on HOW BAD their nonsense is, read it all below. This is truly unbelievable. It is also a warning that every gun owner needs to be very involved and active in political and legislative action in their state, so your state does not adopt similar laws.

Here is a link to an explanation of NJ's new law. If you live in NJ, it is time to flee to freedom while you still can. Kalifornia, New Yawk, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Oregon and Washington are nearly as bad, and competing to become worse than NJ.

That is a FLAGRANT abuse of the 2A, and I cannot believe that it would stand challenge in court. What a shit-hole! [Legally speaking, I'm sure the people, and scenery, are just fine]

Of course the Peoples Democratic Republic of California is little better - thankfully the rural/ag North is much different, at least in local outlook, than the cesspools of SF and LA. Our man in Congress, Doug LaMalfa, R-CA1, is strongly pro-gun.

This is from several years ago concerning New Jersey firearm laws. It doesn't look like things have improved.
