In my experience, an 1855/Civil War bayonet in Nice shape will be priced at least $250.00 to $300.00. That’s just for the bayonet. That’s what I’ve got. It’s in .58 centerfire.
It was converted from a 1st type 1863 Springfield Rifle Musket.

I always fired my rifles with a bit less than 70 grains of ffg because I didn’t want to compress that amount into the modern case when seating a bullet.
